PRODUCT OVERVIEW
High pH (Basic) will promote scaling on pool surfaces and equipment, foaming, and create an environment where chlorine becomes ineffective at killing algae, bacteria and other water borne pathogens. pH should be maintained between 7.4 and 7.6. Ideally, pH should be tested for daily. Essential Elements pH Minus is used to decrease the pH of the pool.

APPLICATION & DOSAGE
In a plastic pail of pool water, pre-dissolve Essential Elements pH Minus. Once the product is dissolved in the water, and with the filter system operating, simply pour the dissolved product onto the surface of the water.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR ORDER OF ADDITION OF CHEMICALS: Make pH adjustments AFTER Alkalinity and Hardness levels have been adjusted and water has circulated for a minimum of 2 hours. However, if the tested pH level is above 8.2, pH adjustment must precede any other adjustments required to ensure that the pool will respond to treatment.
